The idea is simple, everyone brings 1 amount of cheese and the winner of CHEESE RUN wins everyone's cheese.

This is your chance to win BIG VOLUMES of cheese and forever be known as 2023 cheese royalty(with a medal to prove it) plus all participants will receive a nibble of cheese on completion of this great event.

CHEESE RUN runners are to meet at the intersection of Lonsdale and Swanston Street in the Melbourne CBD (near the Large fast food chain) at 3pm on Saturday November 4th 2023. It is hoped you will have cheesed theme clothing on. You must bring 1 amount of cheese to go into the winning basket. 

The course is a brisk 150 metres up Swanston street and will be well marked. This event is a lactose intolerant inclusive event and all are welcome.

After the race it is expected you will join all in a picnic by gouging yourself on cheese and wine(unfortunately BYO) on the beautiful lawns of the State Library.
